    Summary
    The Communications Director will oversee the implementation of both internal and external communication strategies, focused on political messaging and the critical Latino electorate vote. These duties include managing external communication channels, including a proprietary newsletter, LinkedIn posts and outreach events. Must be versed in public media relations, political advocacy and possess excellent writing skills for our bi-weekly internal and external newsletters and other key correspondence. This will be an opportunity to help shape the conversation on the ground and in the local media to help inform the public and political spending stakeholders about the impact of the Latino voter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communication planning, organic content creation, coordination with allied groups, and working with media outlets to communicate directly with targeted constituencies and stakeholders about new developments and announcements. The ideal candidate will be strategic, creative, but also have analytical skills in order to interpret research findings into compelling audience narratives.

    Essential Functions
    • Work with teams on the ground to shape strategy and supervise the execution of highly localized communication plans.
    • Coordinate with Marketing, Insights and Political Team Stakeholders to design and implement Entravision’s Political & Latino vote narratives against
    B2B stakeholders leveraging influential media, community partners and events.
    • Project Management of newsletter, press materials, presentations, social media content, events and videos.
    • Serve as the author and editor of Entravision’s external newsletters that cover our programs and initiatives to drive voter engagement.
    • Create and implement Entravision’s brand voice outlines for all public relations, outbound marketing, advertising, sales presentations and content.
    • Oversee website content and social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Work closely with the Research team to manage, compile and distribute powerful research insights and data that demonstrate the power of the Latino vote..
    • Prepare marketing and informational materials that promote Entravision’s political outreach initiatives·

    Required Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education with a degree or diploma in Business (Marketing), Communications, Public Relations, Political Science or any other relevant field of study - MBA an asset.
    • 8 Years in a communications role including advertising agencies, public relations, political/voter advocacy and project management positions.
    • Excellent narrative writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise and compelling copy. Must be skilled in B2B communications.
    • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication ability
    • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and any MAP (especially Pardot) or other Marketing Operation SaaS platforms
    • Out of the box thinking with a creative flair
    • Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment; ability to prioritize changing tasks.
    • Ability to work with teams and collaborate
    • Enjoys working in a hands-on and collaborative team environment
    • Written and spoken Spanish fluency required
