  • The Director of Marketing and Communications will work to enact strategies to positively impact growth and success of the organization. The ideal candidate’s management style will exhibit integrity, collaboration, flexibility and a result-orientation. Director of Marketing and Communications will work closely with VP of Marketing and Communications, Admissions Directors, and DVPOs and be responsible for planning and executing all community and company marketing initiatives, creating standardized marketing practices and procedures, specific digital marketing, advertising and PR plans, responsible for planning marketing-related projects, and managing external marketing partners and vendors.

     

    The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and leading marketing initiatives and campaigns, analyzing marketing and admissions data, and devising plans to deliver the appropriate message.

    Additional aspects of a Director of Marketing and Communications include supporting the brand development for affiliated communities and supervising internal marketing staff as well as marketing vendors and supporting them in their assigned duties.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, coordinate and oversee all aspects of marketing and communications strategy.
    • Outline and oversee execution of digital marketing and social media strategy.
    • Manage website content, including making regular updates and adjustments to language and visuals.
    • Oversee the creation of digital and print materials, including brochures, fact sheets, handouts, and event materials.
    • Regularly evaluate overall marketing message and ensure that message is cohesive and consistent across all ad campaigns and channels.
    • Manage relationships with media outlets at both the community and corporate level
    • Oversee consistency in branding, for all external communications and materials
    • Manage and hold accountable all external marketing vendors used by company.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum eligibility Requirements

    • Degree in Communications, Journalism, or relevant field preferred
    • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related activities
    • Demonstrable, excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Expert user of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
    • High level of computer literacy
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt and meet varied or tight deadlines
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
    • Positive attitude
    • Demonstrated leadership
    • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
    • Practice and promote management’s Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Founding Principles
