Employee Communications Director manages the development and implementation of all internal communication programs within an organization. Oversees the design and implementation of communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations.   • The Associate Creative Director (Edit) is responsible for creative direction, execution and production of all editorial content in a project, campaign or account. The ideal candidate will be curious and inventive, with the ability to multi-task and collaborate with client and agency partners. This person must be able to create (and review others in creating) content including long form articles, short form copy, video scripts, infographics, social media and other digital copy across all channels.

    Podcast and financial services experience are both a must for this role.

    Experience working with personal stories, complex topics and regulated industries a plus.

    Qualified candidates will have recent experience leading creative work inside a national brand or inside an agency serving such brands. Review of work samples and /or a link to an online portfolio will be part of the screening process for this role.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Oversee the creation of all content, inclusive of podcast scripts, video scripts, short-and-long form articles, white papers, digital and social, display and body copy
    • Present creative work internally and externally
    • Manage the day-to-day production of creative work
    • Give clear, constructive feedback to the team
    • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions
    • Adhere to the creative process
    • Maintain good rapport and relationships with key client contacts (on designated work streams or projects)
    • Ensure the work adheres to brand guidelines for assigned client work
    • Collaborate and share ideas and best practices with ACDs across the organization

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE:

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in English, communications, marketing or a related field

    Experience:

    Minimum 8 years of experience in a copy-focused creative role in a fast-paced in-house or out-of-house agency environment

    Skills:

    • Ability to craft and edit copy that is creative, engaging and accurate.
    • Interviewing and reporting skills to tell brand stories
    • Intermediate copyediting skills to catch errors in presentations, assets, internal communications
    • Collaboration and communication across disciplines at Pace
    • Must be able to articulate the solve for the "The Strategic Why" presented by the strategy team and how the creative uniquely addresses the strategic insight and helps meet business objectives
    • Deep understanding of the emotional and tactical needs for target audiences, channels and platforms
    • Ability to give clear constructive feedback to the creative team
    • Proficient in: Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint; Wordpress or other CMS platforms.
    • Familiarity with and ability to follow SEO best practices and social media specifications for copy

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The salary for this position will range from $63,000-85,000 depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
