    THE ROLE:

    AMD seeks a communications specialist to work with the CHRO Executive Communications lead and the Global HR team to develop and implement communication strategies, plans, and deliverables to support the organization's talent and culture initiatives. This role is integral to our communications team, where you will curate impactful experiences for our employees and deploy communications tactics across various channels such as our intranet, email, newsletters, and presentations.

    THE PERSON:

    The right person must be an excellent communicator and strong writer - with the ability to keep complex things simple. You'll also need to be able to manage multiple programs at once in a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot quickly when needed. Candidates must have proven success and capabilities in developing and executing strategic employee communications plans. This important role will ensure effective and consistent HR communications to our various audiences and internal stakeholders.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conceptualizes, writes, and edits engaging, internal-facing electronic communications, including digital signage, emails, newsletters and HR SharePoint content, and other materials, that advance HR's strategic goals and priorities
    • Works with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that supports change management needs and the employee lifecycle - including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, total rewards, and employee listening tools
    • Monitors and tracks the effectiveness of HR communication efforts, specifically the experience of our employees and managers, by gathering and analyzing data, such as employee feedback and engagement metrics. Use insights to continuously improve communication strategies, messaging, and delivery
    • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal clients, primarily with the executive communications team and HR organization, and is proactive in suggesting creative solutions, while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines

    ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in the area of public relations, corporate communications, or internal communications experience.
