Emergency Room Technician jobs in Flint, MI

Northern Michigan Truck Service Facility is looking for a motivated, self-driven service technician. Minimum qualifications include completion of 90 days of supervised training by a certified Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT). Be familiar with service facilities base line expectation of daily operations. Be able to do online research to access information, understand schematics and or documents pertaining to serviceable components. Applicants will be expected to provide their own set of standard mechanics hand tools. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds to complete heavy truck service work. Must be able to work in tight quarters. Must be able to work out of position. Must be available to travel and work in a customer’s facility (fire stations) or in the field in all weather conditions. Priority given to these additional experiences or certifications: Experience in truck mechanical work. Understanding of fire apparatus, water pumps, hydraulics, and both 12- and 120-volt electrical systems. ASE certification (heavy truck), EVT certification (Emergency Vehicle Technician), Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
