OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB;
To perform work involved with emergency services dispatching from a centralized public safety answering point/communications center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB;
Maintains records and reports of activities. Makes referrals to other public service agencies when appropriate.

Works under the general supervision of a telecommunications supervisor, a senior telecommunicator or the EMA/9-1-1 Director/Coordinator.

High School diploma or equivalent; some computer training required.
