We are searching for a Weekend RN for the Emergency Dept. to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Hours: 36 hours - Modified Full Time

Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 7:15pm-7:15am Weekends - The Weekend-Only Program is designed to reward and motivate employees in selected clinical professions to commit to a long-term scheduling option involving working on most weekends. Employees are expected to maintain this commitment to be eligible for the weekend-only premium.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS required prior to completion of RN Orientation.
• ED experience is highly preferred.

• $15,000 New Hire Sign On with 3 years of RN ED experience
• $12,000 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of RN ED experience
• $10,000 New Hire Sign On with 1 years of Hospital RN Experience OR Less than 1 year RN ED experience
• Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible
