HOURLY RANGE: $13.00-$18.00
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY:
Answer all in-coming calls, welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department for assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Responsible for answering four 911 telephone lines and eight administration telephonelines. Ensuring that phone messages are taken accurately and are deliveredpromptly.
•Responsible for answering a 20-25 channel radio and dispatching calls to theappropriate agency.
•Responsible for logging all incoming and outgoing phone and radio calls.
•Responsible for greeting individuals who come into the office and directing themto the appropriate staff or agency.
•Assist in maintaining files and perform general clerical duties.
•Assist responders as needed
•All other duties as assigned by the Chief of Police

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
•Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
•Computer skills, including Word, Excel and Access.
•Report writing and data entry skills.
•Must be able to type 50 wpm.
•Knowledge of other office equipment.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Must be able to stay calm in emergency situations.
•Must be able to multitask.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting,kneeling, stooping. Good finger dexterity and feeling for frequent repetitivemotions; verbal, audible, and visual acuity.
•Occasional lifting (up to 50lbs)
