Primary Responsibilities:

• Runs an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, achievement of all service level targets, and cost controls.
• Recruits, interviews, and hires all service department staff.
• Implements strong processes and procedures, then trains and coaches daily on their performance. 
• Strives for teamwork within the department and harmony with all departments.
• Conduct meetings with managers and other team members to identify potential service issues.
• Sets department objectives and team members goals. Keeps all team members updated on their performance and goal accomplishments.
• Monitors and controls all warranty claims to ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Works with other upper management to develop, plan and implement dealership wide goals, objectives, and other operational planning.

Qualifications:

• Service Director experience with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent Leadership skills, and the ability to develop and motivate a top performing team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
