Job Purpose: The Charge Entry Group Lead is a leading member of the CBO Team. The Charge Entry Group Lead is a hands on, servant leader, who is responsible for coaching and developing the teams content expertise with the software we use and in the healthcare billing arena. The individual will exemplify an employee and patient first mentality, focusing on content development for each team member, as well as helping ensure the day to day operations are flowing smoothly. They will help identify trends, work complex issues, and serve as an escalation point for the team. The individual will be well versed in healthcare revenue cycle management, ambulatory billing software, coding (if applicable) and team building/coaching.
Essential Functions: (Examples of Duties)
1. Run daily productivity reports, quarterly quality and assurance reviews.
2. Office visit and Industry claim creation.
3. Answer charge entry claim questions received.
4. Hands on Coaching, side by side training, classroom training (remote).
5. Assist with EKG creation overflow when required.
6. Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: (Describe minimum qualifications, preferred or required)
Education: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: 1 year of healthcare billing experience.
