Responsibilities include delivering a high-quality program of activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and groups. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, the Activities Director will collaborate with other departments as needed and take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. The role involves assisting residents in enhancing re-socialization skills, contributing to the improvement of physical well-being, promoting leisure education, developing personalized one-on-one programs for room-bound or bed-bound residents, and creating an ongoing schedule of meaningful activities aligned with the unique needs and interests of each resident. The Activities Director will provide mental and sensory stimulation, develop individualized plans for residents, participate in community-oriented and marketing projects, and maintain daily effective interactions with residents and their families.
