Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Modernization/Repair Project Manager to oversee and coordinate repair projects. The Modernization/Repair Manager will be responsible for managing the repair process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong project coordination and construction management skills.
Duties:
- Coordinate repair projects, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing all aspects of the repair process
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that repairs are completed within allocated funds
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain necessary materials and services
- Conduct site visits to assess repair needs and provide guidance to repair teams
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management or construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Proficiency in project management software such as Prolog or Primavera
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam or Civil 3D is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
