    Why you should join our team as a RF Design Engineer:

    The RF Design Engineer is responsible in the design of new cellular signal booster products from the initial concept phase through product introduction. This position requires a willingness to step into any task in support of the group and to be a strong team player and contributor. We are only considering experienced engineers for this role.

    This position is based in our Richardson, Texas location and reports to the Product Design Manager.

    A day on the job may include:

    • Designing and developing of cellular repeaters for consumer and commercial products worldwide
    • "Productize" designs for production, including generating bills of materials, part specifications, test specifications, and schematics
    • Providing RF Analysis for RF systems within the mobile phone environment, RF simulations, cascade analysis and link budgets
    • Performing extensive RF test on designs and components as well as performing Product Design verification and test programs and troubleshooting designs
    • Build/tune/test antenna prototypes
    • Supporting an aggressive schedule for new product releases
    • Facilitating US and international regulatory qualification and compliance of new repeater products
    • Providing technical support for sales and marketing activities
    • Performing system level field testing within indoor and outdoor environments

    This job may be for you if you have:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
    • 5 years of RF Product design experience at the component level
    • Familiarity with Altium or other PCB Layout simulation tools
    • Familiarity with ADS, Genesys or other RF simulation tools
    • Familiarity with MATLAB and other DSP tools
    • Strong computer skills including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in RF handset design, with focus on RF power amplifier (RFPA) and low noise amplifier (LNA) theory, frequency conversion, baseband, and modulation / demodulation
    • Experience with RF board-level and system design
    • Experience with RF PCB layouts
    • Experience with 4G/5G cellular technologies
    • Knowledge of key components specifications and design techniques utilizing SAW, BAW, Resonators, Diplexers, Duplexers, PA's etc.
    • Hands-on RF test bench experience, including SMT soldering skills
    • Experience with creating test automation and system level field testing
    • Experience with WiFi & Bluetooth implementation
    • Experience with microwave and RF antenna theory and designs
    • Knowledge of digital signal processing architectures, techniques, and methodologies within the Mobile cellular domain
    • Experience using LABView, Agilent VSA, Visio and any other engineering software products
    • Microcontroller programming experience in C, C
    • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) is a plus

    Physical requirements:

    • Ability to work onsite in Richardson, Texas
    • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at any given time
    • Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, and/or sitting in tight spaces will be necessary
    • Travel 5-10%
