    Summary:
    Responsible for the reliability, integrity, availability and security of the company's information and communications systems.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and monitor adherence to Company and IT enterprise standards, goals, processes, policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Ensure IT policies and procedures are documented, communicated, and kept current
    • Provide status and progress reports for IT projects as needed with relation to area(s) of responsibilities
    • Ensuring security of data and access to data
    • Develop business continuity plans
    • Build the team that supports desktop and server systems, local and remote users
    • Ensure administration and availability of corporate IT infrastructure including:
      • Active Directory
      • Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
      • SAN and NAS
      • Microsoft Exchange
      • LAN and WAN networking
      • Telephony systems
      • Various Business Systems
      • SAP
    • Responsible for monitoring all systems to ensure consistency
    • Develop and follow change control procedures and schedules to minimize downtime.
    • Responsible for server room security, physical environment, recovery of data center in case of emergency or crisis and environmental monitoring.
    • Participate in vendor evaluations and contract negotiations.
    • Work with department designees to architect and develop technical solutions that meet not only project goals but also meet long term strategic goals.
    • Research new technologies and ideas that may have future beneficial impact and reduce operating costs and infrastructure costs
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure proper succession planning and knowledge sharing.
    • Implement sound financial management, including asset management and operational metrics as tools for continuous improvement
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, or a closely related field. Master's degree in related field preferred
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience with 2 years in leadership role
    • Strong leadership skills
    • System Administration Skills (including but not limited to :)
      • Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems
      • Must have extensive experience in SAP
      • LAN and WAN networking
      • Administration of routers and VPN
      • VMware
      • Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage technologies
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to document all facets of infrastructure and keep this documentation current
    • Ability to consistently meet deadlines; anticipate and work through obstacles to ensure compliance to deadlines
    • Perform other tasks as assigned
