**Responsibilities:**
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair marine electronics systems, with a focus on integrated audio-video setups and sophisticated networking solutions.
- Collaborate closely with yacht captains and owners to tailor solutions that enhance entertainment and connectivity on board.
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify complex electronic issues and propose effective solutions.
- Configure and integrate radar systems, GPS navigation, fishfinders, communication systems, audio-video setups, and networking configurations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to provide forward-thinking recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Marine Electronics Technician, including expertise in integrated AV systems and sophisticated networking configurations.
- Strong understanding of marine electronics systems, navigation, communication, audio-video setups, and networking.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot intricate electronic challenges.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant certifications (NMEA, ABYC, AVIXA, etc.) would be advantageous.
