Job Title: Electronics Processing Technician
Salary: $16.00/Hour
Position Overview: The Electronics Processing Technician is an in-office position responsible for handling all assigned device diagnostics with excellent attention to detail and quality. The individual in this position will be familiar with Apple devices and have a general understanding of computer hardware. The individual in this position will have experience with typing and the ability to work with small parts. The Electronics Processing Technician will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with other technicians to ensure that devices are processed in a timely manner. Applicants will be required to pass a background check and E-Verify requirements.
Fundamental Goals and Responsibilities:
- Learns how to trouble shoot, grade, and process devices as they are received
- Ensures all devices are processed in a timely manner
- Delivers excellent communication and customer service
- Owns the cleanliness of their workspace and devices, as well as the accuracy of their processing
- Tracks ITAD assets inventory levels
- Supports Operations when needed (including Buybacks, Warehouse, and Inventory)
Objectives for the First 90 Days:
- Learn how to process devices efficiently to keep up with daily goals and current demand
- Learn how to properly grade devices based on cosmetics and functionality
- Ensure that all devices are organized based on their current processing stage
Objectives for the First 6 Months:
- Collaborate with other technicians to learn, and eventually develop, the most efficient and effective methods for quality device processing and repurposing
- Continued improvement in the Objectives for the First 90 Days
- Regularly hit and exceed processing goals and targets
- Develop unique feedback to improve the processing speed, accuracy, and efficiency
