Electronic Data Interchange Specialist analyzes, designs, and develops specifications for enhancements and extensions with EDI application interfaces and maps. Ensures proper configuration and set-up of the EDI tools and systems that support file transfer between internal and external trading partners. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Specialist coordinates trading partner implementations and conducts EDI testing. Documents processes, data flow, file specifications, and mapping using standard formats. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Electronic Data Interchange Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

    • Supports the risk management process and associated documentation such as PPAP, PFMEA, First Article Inspection and AS9102/FAIR reports.   
    • Support corrective action processes for both suppliers as well as internal and external customers in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate problems, implement corrective actions and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Requires excellent reasoning skills, and the ability to analyze statistical data to aid in problem-solving. 
    • Perform inspections, tests, and audits on products, processes and systems to ensure compliance to Quality and ISO standards.
    • Coordinates training for production and quality teams on Quality Systems, ISO, IPC inspection, and ESD standards.

    Requirements of the Quality Engineer:

    • Quality Engineer must have a 4-year technical degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement related role
    • Printed circuit board manufacturing experience preferred.  
    • Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and soldering is a plus.
    • Requires exceptional computer skills, and experience using Microsoft Office applications, MS Access a plus. 
    • Must be able to read and understand printed circuit board assembly documentation and component blueprints, as well as possess thorough knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes.
