Electronic Health Records System Specialist (EHR) will provide guidance, training, and reviews of all compliance related activities connected to the electronic health records system. In addition, this role conducts internal audits to ensure demonstrated adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, identify gaps, training opportunities, and process improvements. This position is responsible for managing the electronic health records system help desk and be responsible to staff training needs. This position supports the BI Manager, Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence, Clinical Staff and Leadership. Position is expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health industry, health records system, and technology resources.

Essential Job Functions: (This is not the job description in its entirety)

• Administrator of electronic health records system task ticket system for internal staff.
• Tracks agencies task tickets for EHR vendor
• Manages workflow, troubleshooting, and compliance issues with EHR Client Portal and Provider Portal.
• Responsible for the revision and/or development of agency forms inside electronic health record
• Ensures electronic health records forms and assessments comply with governing bodies.
• Responsible for reporting compliance with Electronic Health Records system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in social services field, medical, quality assurance, or technology; or applicable experience.
• 2-3 years of data management and compliance experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience.

Experience:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Health Records, data analytics and compliance
• Proven ability to develop, implement, train and coach staff in various roles in a fast-paced non- profit environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and feedback related to EHR compliance.

• Pass required background checks.
• In-person with a hybrid option following the probationary period.
