Documents processes, data flow, file specifications, and mapping using standard formats. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Daytona Beach, FL that is seeking a Data Specialist responsible for entering and maintaining master item data in the ERP system, maintaining data integrity and work directly with suppliers, buyers and branches to ensure data updates are made in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities: * Responsible for data entry into the ERP and any associated systems * Maintains integrity of the Item Master and pricing databases * Serves as primary point of contact for divisions and Suppliers on price and item changes * Performs Supplier price changes and updates Supplier item data * Identifies and resolves issues due to missing or erroneous data, regardless of whether the system provides warnings or error messages * Provides service and support to the field by responding promptly to requests * Maintains awareness of relevant department level service level agreements (SLA's) and works to ensure agreements are met * Supports M&A activities when necessary * Any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: * Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Knowledgeable of ERP applications (preferably Oracle) * Strong analytic skills * Strong communication skills, both written and oral * Attention to detail - careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks * Dependability - reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations * Process Improvement - evaluating and using relevant information and individual judgment to suggest ways to improve the work processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
