Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for an Electronic Data Integration (EDI) Representative.  The EDI rep is responsible for verifying the integrity of the data sent and received from our outside processors so that the billing of material to our final customers is done in a timely manner.  The position will be located at our West Chester Regional office in West Chester, Ohio. 

Summary of Responsibilities: 

• Minimize delays in processing electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions allowing timely billing of customers as a result of a thorough investigation of the suspense records ensuring the appropriate course of action and accurate information is displayed in our system and available for invoicing 

• Manual intervention, such as data entry, will be required at times from selected outside processors for material receipts, production, and shipments, ensuring the integrity of the data received matches the orders of the processor(s) and/or the customer 

• Assists in the resolution of claims, rejects, obsolete material and incorrect transportation billing as it relates to outside processing transactions 

• Work with the outside processing facilities on reporting issues to ensure accurate future transmissions 

• Work with IT on maintenance items or system enhancements that will improve our data integrity 

• Assist with the reconciliation for annual physical inventories 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent 

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and builds relationships within both internal and external customers 

• Strong computer skills including being proficient with Microsoft Office 

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree in business or related degree
