SUMMARY

Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing the property’s electrical systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical installation/repairs – outlets, switches, breakers, light fixtures, and conduit
• Monitoring/testing/inspection of property equipment and electrical components to identify hazards, defects, need of adjustment, for repairs and ensure compliance with codes
• Assist in new construction projects
• Tests electrical systems, continuity of circuits, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
• Maintain proper supplies and inventory   
• Proficient with National Electric Code and OSHA requirements
• Project management
• Able to set priorities and follow production schedules  
• General construction knowledge and safety 
• Backup power equipment – generators, automatic transfer switches, switchgears, and ups
• All other duties assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Facilities Manager then to the Director of Facilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. 
• Must be able to read and write to ensure proper and accurate report completion.
• The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. 
• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task
• Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required                            
• Time management & priority setting
• Troubleshooting & problem solving          
• You must be at least 21 years old 
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• You will need to be available to work all shifts and including on call.
• The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
• You must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License. 

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4-5 Years’ experience 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. Must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
