Being an Electrician uses a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Electrician typically requires Electrician License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Electrician works under moderate supervision. Must have strong schematic reading skills for functionally & installations as well as troubleshooting skills on various types of manufacturing high speed automated equipment.
Must be able to setup, troubleshoot and install AC / DC drives, motors control circuits and Allen Bradley PLC's. Must have working knowledge of high voltage, switch gears & Sub-Station equipment.
Able to operate digital test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, DMM's and analyzers / data loggers. Must be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and process.
Must have high value and displaying a sense of urgency to complete projects and tasks with minimal guidance Qualifications : Employee must a Maintenance Electrical Journeyman or Electrical Technician equivalent or a two (2) year degree, NFPA 70E Training.
Must have three (3) or more years of experience troubleshooting process equipment in industrial maintenance and / or manufacturing operations.
Must be able to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Perform duties assigned by supervisor. Salary Range for this position - $28.
