Being an Electrician uses a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Electrician typically requires Electrician License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Electrician works under moderate supervision. Installs, maintains and tests electrical distribution systems and associated electrical wiring. Repairs electrical motors and fixtures. Works with both AC and DC currents and low/high voltages.
Education:
High school graduate or the equivalent.
Experience:
5 years’ experience as licensed electrician. Work experience as an electrician in a hospital environment preferred.
