Summary:

Position will assemble, install, and test electrical equipment and cabinets for all systems designed and built by the Company

Primary Duties:

• Wire each cabinet using electrical drawings for proper power distribution, PLC, and safety control
• Follow all standards and wiring practices contained in the N.E.C. Code, N.F.P.A. handbook, and UL listing
• Assist and interface with mechanical and electrical engineering group during development of systems
• Assist in Installation/Startup at customer’s location, as needed

Non-Essential Duties:

• Work with other departments to accomplish our goals and objectives
• Maintain cleanliness of shop work space and free of hazards
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience:

• Oregon Electrical Journeyman’s manufacturing license (4-year apprenticeship)
• Minimum of two (2) years electrical experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
• Ability to use electrical schematics and appropriate electrical troubleshooting equipment to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical problems in the field
