Electrician

Mancan is working with a company in Berlin seeking an industrial electrician. Must have experience with PLCs. The hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3 : 30 pm.

Pay starts at $32.23 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and PLC-controlled machinery within our industrial facility.

Responsibilities :

PLC Programming and Troubleshooting : Design, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of industrial machinery and processes.

Electrical System Installation : Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes.

Equipment Maintenance : Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections on industrial machinery, identifying and addressing electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Emergency Repairs : Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies, diagnose issues, and implement timely repairs to restore operations.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Update electrical drawings and documentation as needed.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Collaboration : Work closely with maintenance and production teams to understand equipment requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Support : Provide technical support to production teams during equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical degree preferred.
• Experience : Prior experience as an Industrial Electrician, with a focus on PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• PLC Expertise : Proficient in programming and troubleshooting various PLC models.
• Electrical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Safety Conscious : Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address electrical issues efficiently.
• Communication : Effective communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with team members.
• Flexibility : Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
