Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Director to join our team. As the Safety Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This is a crucial role in our organization as we prioritize the health and well-being of our workforce.

Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for minimizing workplace injuries and illnesses
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in safety management
- Manage workers' compensation claims process, including reporting, investigation, and resolution
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS, NEC, and other relevant regulations
- Oversee the implementation of construction management software for safety tracking purposes

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations 10, 30, and 500 certifications
- Strong understanding of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) principles
- Proven experience in risk management and occupational health
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build a culture of safety within the organization
- CUSP certification preferred
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and requirements
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective safety strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on safety protocols
