    Job Overview:
    The Project Manager is responsible to supervise and oversee the resources of people (including subcontractors), equipment and materials on their projects. The PM is responsible for estimating and bidding jobs, as well as communicating with the client and coordinating billing with the Operations Administrator.  The Project Manger needs to embody the core values of AEC as this is a leadership role within the organization.  They are responsible for ensuring the projects are completed in accordance with scheduling requirements, at estimated cost and meet the excellence of workmanship standard.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Estimating and Bidding: 

    • Meet with customers to define scope of project and review specifications and plans.
    • Solicitation of quotations for buyout packages from vendors.
    • Compose Bids and Estimates for scope of work.
    • Review RFP’s to ensure complete understanding of request.
    • Draft and submit proposal for client.
    • Follow Up on all bids submitted and record feedback.
    Project Management:

    • Conduct pre construction meeting to provide field with clear understanding of job specifications and plans. 
    • Develop project budget & manage to it.
    • Prepare monthly billing projections and requisitions.
    • Develop project schedule with operations manager.
    • Process RFI's.
    • Produce Change Proposals to the Customer in a timely fashion.
    • Check budgets & costs, on a monthly basis to ensure projects are on track.
    • Provide complete and accurate information to Operations Administrator for processing purchase orders, work orders, change orders, subcontracts and billing.
    • Manage all communication with the customer and field.
    • Actively participate in weekly management meetings with constructive input.
    • Demonstrate ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.
    • Lead by example.  Set the standard in regards to all interactions both verbal and written.
    • Consistently demonstrate the ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
    • Demonstrate good judgement in investigating problems.
    • Respect confidentiality of company, customer and personnel information.
    • Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations.

     Minimum Requirements:

    • Five (5) years’ experience in construction project management, electrical preferred.
    • Experience with estimating software (Conest Preferred) and job cost system such as Spectrum.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and customers at varying stages of construction.
