Responsibilities of Counter Sales Associate:

• Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during the sales process; up sell complementary products
• Correctly enter the customer order in the computer system
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements; market all products sold and suggest replacement/alternative products when appropriate
• Maintain a working knowledge of the entire sales process from start to finish (including the order, billing, delivery, and payment processes)
• Assist in maintaining the counter, merchandising, and product display area assuring a safe, clean and orderly environment; assemble and stock product displays and shelves and prepare customer refreshments
• Assist in warehouse duties such as stocking, labeling shelves, restocking showroom, inventory of goods, cycle counting, etc. in a manner that assures an orderly and safe work environment
• Assist with the shipping and receiving processes as needed including training on the UPS shipment process
• Occasionally operate a forklift to assist in warehouse duties

Qualifications of Counter Sales Associate:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one year of experience in the Tool, Rental and or Safety industry and/or knowledge of Tools Renal or Safety products.
• Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm work schedule
