Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Work with Superintendents/Foreman to establish progress reports and ensure the project is on schedule and budget
Complete close-out documents.
Estimator
Locate potential jobs and perform initial constructability analysis.
Review and understand plans and project scope
Attend pre-bid meetings to clarify issues in preconstruction documents and plan drawings.
Complete detailed take-offs to establish precise material quantities.
Work with subcontractors to establish their scope of work and ensure competitive pricing.
Work with multiple vendors to ensure exact material requirements and establish accurate costs.
Compose schedules to establish a basis of labor and equipment requirements.
Submit bid documents to the appropriate agency.
