JOB TITLE: MRO Specialist

JOB LOCATION: VANTAGE GROUP®, 610 N. Route 31, Crystal Lake, IL. 60012

Reports To: Director of Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position of MRO Specialist exists to focus on key locations of national account customers held by VANTAGE GROUP®. In this role the specialist will focus on plant locations that either has low volume, located in remote areas, or of key strategic importance. They will work with the assigned SAM to become a key contact at those sites. That includes building relationships, quoting material, processing orders, and become a champion for the plants day-to-day needs. The MRO Specialist should possess the skills necessary to operate on many fronts simultaneously, coordinate the needs of their customers, engage/partner with the VANTAGE GROUP® branches and collaborate with all applicable manufacturers. To do this, an MRO Specialist will need to work with the SAM assigned, local plant personnel, distributor salespeople, and key manufacturing partners. In short, the MRO Specialist must be a self-driven individual who can plan for the successful growth of plant locations and has the ability to motivate all involved to deliver on the plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Sales experience and strong knowledge of the electrical industry

· Electrical industry experience is required.

· Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office Applications (EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint)

· A dedicated customer focus.

· Ability to adhere to pressured deadlines

· Ability to prioritize tasks is essential.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

1. Build and grow relationships with assigned customer base

2. Exceed sales requirements of the company (stated as annual account quotas)

3. Deliver Cost Savings to Customers

4. Develop appropriate Strategies to meet objectives (Customer – Distributor – Manufacturer)

5. Participate in specific implementation activities

6. Assist in determining appropriate customer programs to realize their stated goals

7. Excel as a team member of VANTAGE GROUP®

This position will be a Hybrid/remote position. While with account responsibility, it does not require travel. MRO Specialist will report through DOS. Will be a base salary and compensation plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
