Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. DUTIES:
The Payroll Accountant is responsible for RSC?s payroll operations, financial procedures, and records. The payroll accountant ensures the company?s processes comply with governmental policies and laws.
1. Processes payroll for the entire RSC Company.
2. Applies personnel wage increases.
3. Completes employee PTO requests.
4. Processes garnishment/IWO recurring payments.
5. Completes payroll deductions and reimbursements.
6. Supports New Hire Onboarding.
7. Run monthly Union Dues reports for local affiliations.
8. Completes employee verification requests.
9. Manages personnel information, time tracking, time & attendance, time ticketing, and accounting functions through systems including but not limited to Paychex Flex, Sage Intacct, and BuildOps.
10. Completes Payroll Audits and Business Surveys.
11. Acknowledges any updates regarding Payroll Law and Union Payroll mandates.
12. Certifies Payroll hours for reporting.
13. Other duties assigned.
DESIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or accounting required. A minimum of four years of accounting-related experience is required.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
? Expertise in accounting and payroll management.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of human resources policies.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Paychex Knowledge, Sage Intacct, BuildOps, and other accounting software programs.
? Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculators, and copiers.
? Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
? Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality.
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Strong critical thinking skills.
PAY RATE: $36 - $40 hourly (depending on experience)
