Electrical Engineering Manager jobs in Missouri
Electrical Engineering Manager manages electrical engineering projects and operations within an organization. Implements and maintains policies and procedures for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electronic equipment or devices. Being an Electrical Engineering Manager reviews and approves new or revised designs, testing or installation procedures. Ensures engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Manager provides professional development opportunities and expert guidance to engineers. Draws on significant experience and knowledge to contribute to projects. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a director. The Electrical Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Electrical Engineering Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. What you will do: The Director of Engineering will lead the Engineering and Maintenance teams with responsibilities over all product lines (including rotating electrical, mechanical, electronics, and EV battery) and product launch, product and process engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality systems, and warranty.
Qualifications/Skills Preferred:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- At least ten years of related experience required.
- Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to develop and implement solutions
- Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data in an open book environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Preferred APQP or AIAG experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
