Spectra Tech has an immediate need for an Electrical Designer in Erwin, TN.
Electrical Designer to provide support on 3-D CAD drawings. Candidates need to have experience with designing electrical drawings that could include: cable trays, conduit, wiring layouts, power distribution (480v and below). Will also be designing power distribution, substation and switchgear layouts and modifications, PLC Controls and instrumentation for equipment, etc. Candidates that have Microstation is also plus. Will be working with other design disciplines, and must be self-motivated and have the knowledge of how to take a project from design to construction. Projects will include plant modernization, retrofits and modification work.
Will be using MicroStation to lay out electrical drawings for projects throughout the plant site. Drawings are in support of plant projects ranging from modernization projects to retrofit work.
Microstation software experience is preferred/Q clearance preferred (but not required).
Education/Experience: Associates Degree preferred. 5 years of experience.
