    The role…
    The Process Controls Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing projects including the installation of instrumentation and controls and the replacement of Distributed Control Systems and automated machinery at our Urbana, OH facility.

    How you’ll make an impact…

    • Provide application/control design, architecture, and development for systems of varied complexity
    • Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated customer requirements
    • Create/modify program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems
    • Proficient in several programming languages and control device networks including, but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABB
    • Proficient with HMI design, PID loops, Machine networking
    • Interacts with customers, engineering, maintenance, and production employees to resolve issues and identify opportunities

    What do you bring…

    • Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in industrial controls or 10 years of Controls experience in a manufacturing plant (paper manufacturing preferred)
    • Extensive development experience with ABB DCS, Siemens, or Allen Bradley controls
    • Strong project management and leadership skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Walking, stooping, lifting, and ability to work in a hot and humid environment for extended periods
