Requirements:
EE Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer
Strong skills in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming
Proficiency in Microsoft C# .NET Application Development
Experience with control system installation, commissioning, and startup
Familiarity with motion control systems, including rotary and linear servo motors
Knowledge of three-phase power systems
Preferred Skills:
Embedded C programming
ARM Cortex M series processor development
Understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level
Experience with National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware, LabVIEW Software, TestStand Software
Knowledge of Hazardous Location Machine Design, including North American as well as European Standards
Experience with custom control algorithm development and implementation
Responsibilities:
Provide detailed input on electrical and software/firmware system requirements during product definition stage.
Develop hardware definitions for new products by creating point-to-point wiring schematics and component specifications.
Oversee electrical equipment fabrication.
Troubleshoot during installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
Develop and support automated product testers and data acquisition projects for product development/testing.
Develop project schedules, coordinate Integrated Product Team activities, track subsystem technical status (mechanical, electrical, software), coordinate activities with senior management.
