Description:
This position performs a variety of electrical engineering-related functions in support of the design and application of all controls related accessories. This will include a range of engineering duties from calculations, CAD drafting, testing, and other similar technical functions.
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for process standardization, sourcing, control panel design, testing and writing process procedures.
They will support the inside and outside sales team, manufacturing team, distributors, end-users by answering application questions
They will need to be comfortable interacting with the ERP system including looking up parts, BOM's, inventory locations, costs, etc.
They will be designing control panels to adhere to UL508a standards.
