Being an Electric Motor Assembler may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Motor Assembler relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We’re looking for a powertrain and/or electric motor expert who can guide the development of electric motors and powertrain systems for our propulsive solutions. In particular, they should be able to navigate complex conceptual motor design trades confidently, drive these concepts from sketches to manufacturable designs, and analyze multiple motors in the context of a broader distributed electric propulsion system. This person will work closely with our Chief Engineer and Hardware Lead to iterate on motor designs and will have no problems rolling up their sleeves to get work done.
