Electric Motor Assembler assembles electric motor components and subassemblies. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electric Motor Assembler may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Motor Assembler relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Duties include but not limited to:
Production: Assist techs in core tear down and assembly.
Shipping and Receiving: Packing motors for shipment, loading and unloading company truck.
Maintenance: General Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance. Cutting grass, cleaning, sweeping. Maintaining work area, cores, and parts.
This is an entry level position. Electric Motor/Mechanical experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly is important. Work is performed in the shop and outside grounds.
