Electric Meter Installer and Repairer jobs in South Dakota
Electric Meter Installer and Repairer tests, adjusts, and repairs electrical meters. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electric Meter Installer and Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Meter Installer and Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. We are conducting electric meter upgrades in the Sioux Falls, SD area for Xcel Energy, and are hiring Utility Electric Meter Installers. Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Company vehicle will be provided! Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm, Friday 7:30am - 11:30am. (4) 9 hour days and (1) 4 hour day).
Successful candidates will be required to join the Local 426 Union.
Pay for the position will be starting at $24.12/hour.
