Electric Meter Installer and Repairer jobs in Palmer, AK

We are a family owned/operated business located in Anchorage since 1985 and are looking for an individual with drive and self-discipline to join the team. Candidate will have the opportunity to learn a valuable trade in the construction industry. Our ideal candidate will have a background in construction, however we will train the right candidate.

Here is glimpse of what you will do:

• Insulate multiple residential and commercial jobs a week
• Install fiberglass batts, vapor barrier and blown-in insulation.
• Work closely with the insulation team to complete jobs accurately.
• Attend dispatch and project meetings as required.

Here is some of what you will need:

• Construction experience, one year (preferred, not required).
• The physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds of material and tools
• Strong time-management, organizational and relational skills.
• The ability to work and travel between 40-70 hours a week.

Compensation: Base Salary DOE, Piece Pay

Job Type: Full-time, Overtime

Schedule:

• Mon-Friday 7AM-4:30PM; 6-7 days a week if necessary

Supplemental pay types:

• Paid Time Off

License/Certification:

• Driver's License and clean record
• Pre-employment drug test required

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Anchorage and Statewide, AK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
