Electric/Electronics Technician constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Being an Electric/Electronics Technician ensures systems and components meet established specifications. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Electric/Electronics Technician typically reports to a supervisor. The Electric/Electronics Technician works under moderate supervision. Must-Have
· High school diploma/GED
· 4 years working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and power generators repairs.
· Commercial/Industrial exp in Generators & multiskilled technician on Power and HVAC
· Happy to work in the field.
· Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
· Valid driver’s license
What you’ll do:
· You’ll be based out of our Benicia, CA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.
· You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and potential for travel.
· Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
· Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and customer locations and handle the repairs.
· You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
