Job Description: Behavior Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION: ACE is seeking a Behavior Specialist to develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
2. Hold valid BCBA certification
3. Good communication skills with students, colleagues and parents

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work Conduct FBAs
• Develop BIPs
• Train staff on the implementation of BIPs
• Collect and maintain data on target behaviors and replacement behaviors
• Complete detailed service logs documenting how services were delivered
• Train, model, and provide feedback on the implementation of the BIP to staff and parents
• Assess students' needs and provide ongoing treatment as needed

• Knowledgeable about children.
• Knowledgeable about children with disabilities. Knowledge regarding autism a plus.
• Excited about teaching!
