IN-PERSON POSITION
Position Summary
NAMI Southern Arizona is seeking a Program Manager. This position will require an individual to be flexible, organized, and detail-oriented. The Program Manager will be responsible for completing all necessary paperwork, including the creation of the program, training, implementation, and progress monitoring. The position will also report to the Executive Director.
Duties
1. Market the program within the Southern Arizona community as appropriate to mental health providers, schools, support organizations, and other NAMI programs. Present to potential NAMI Southern Arizona funders as requested by the Executive Director.
2. Maintain awareness of the program budget, function within the budget, and report needs to the Executive Director.
3. Recruit, interview, train, and provide on-going supervision of program leaders/presenters. Training and supervision of leaders and presenters to include training/guidance in presentation style and in how to complete a presentation.
4. Maintain up-to-date program manuals and provide such to leaders on an on-going basis.
5. Provide end of program forms including instructor evaluations and certificates of completion (as appropriate). Provide link to participant evaluations and data surveys online, or provide paper evaluations.
6. Respond to incoming calls/emails concerning the program and interview prospective participants. Either a) refer potential participant to more appropriate program, b) enroll participant in course, or c) place potential participant on waiting list for next available program event.
7. Make follow up calls to class/training attendees
8. Utilize NAMI on-line programs (e.g. NAMI 720 or Trailblazer) to maintain up-to-date registration information regarding participants, teachers, presenters, and program events. Enter report data on NAMI 720.
9. Maintain and contribute to information on the NAMI Southern Arizona Shared Drive concerning venues, participants, teachers, presenters, events.
10. Communicate scheduled meetings and trainings to the Office Manager, Advocates, and Communications Team.
11. Communicate with Social Media Coordinator and Events Assistant for program promotion
12. Attend all trainings as directed by the Executive Director.
13. Schedule and hold quarterly team meetings either in person or virtually.
14. Be willing to complete ALL training curriculum required by NAMI Southern Arizona and any additional training that keeps you up-to-date on your NAMI Southern Arizona Signature Program.
15. Be consistent with the principles, practices and policies of NAMI National and NAMI Southern Arizona.
16. Help promote Ending the Silence in the community

4. Keep accurate track of hours worked and submit to supervisor
5. Bilingual English/Spanish skills an asset.
6. Support NAMI Southern Arizona’s mission through participation in stigma fighting and fundraising events as possible, particularly NAMIwalks
