    The Operations Manager (OM), will have a significant role on campus, supporting both the Director, Campus Operations (DCO), and Campus Coordinators to ensure a safe, healthy, and productive campus. The OM will support the DCO in daily operations and long-term strategy, while taking ownership of responsibilities as tasked relating to academic, operational, financial, and cultural components of the program. The OM will also work closely with the Campus Coordinators to make a direct impact on the student and staff experience.   
    Leveraging existing elements of the Amerigo program, this team member will be expected to implement a residential life program that values academic achievement, prioritizes each student’s overall well-being, and provides a high level of customer service to our students, families, staff members, and partner school community.   
    Success in this role will be demonstrated by:   
    • Developing, implementing, and managing programs, activities, and processes that ensure a positive student experience
    • Working closely with all campus staff to ensure end-to-end alignment among team members
    • Managing facilities and related services including food vendors, transportation, activities planning, procurement, , to maintain a high-caliber work and residential environment for staff and students

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The OM will be responsible for supporting all operational staff and overseeing areas of dorm operations as prescribed.   
    On a day-to-day basis, the OM will be responsible for:   
    • Development and continued management of all aspects of the campus facilities and assets working with campus staff and students to ensure that the physical space meets the needs of our students and team members
    • Development and continued management of all aspects of the student experience, leading Campus Coordinators to create a calendar of events, activities, and deliberate teachings that result in a positive and engaging campus culture
    • Managing all administrative tasks involved with student health, including medical appointments, records, insurance claims, and engaging with providers
    • Partnering with the DCO to maintain fiscal responsibility for the budget
    • Partnering with the DCO to maintain appropriate communication channels with students and parents
    • Communicating with partner school regarding student documentation and attendance
    • Working with the DCO to discuss ideas, issues, and opportunities to the Central Services and partner school teams in a timely manner
    • Working with the DCO to organize weekly staff schedules and meetings
    • The OM will also serve as a key member of the supervisory staff and will be ready to step up and assist with filling in for required dorm shifts as necessary

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, energetic individual with a passion for collaborating with teams and working with people, particularly adolescents. This person will be organized and have excellent written and oral communication skills. This person will demonstrate the ability to be flexible with priorities in a dynamic environment. This person must be resilient and reliable while demonstrating an ability to build a strong community culture within a global environment.   
    In addition, they will possess:   
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university in a related discipline or relevant experience
    • 1 years prior coordinating experience in a residential education setting at the K12 or Higher Education level and/or in a role at a similar institution
