The Family Education Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple family education programs (HIPPY, PAT, etc.) aimed at supporting parents and caregivers in promoting the healthy development and safety of children. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. This position requires a deep understanding of early childhood education, evidence-based practices, strength-based case management, and a commitment to community engagement. In addition to program oversight, the Family Education Manager will also have primary responsibilities related to program funding, administration, staff supervision, and community relations.

Duties
Program Development:
· Collaborate with the leadership team to design and develop comprehensive family education programs aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
· Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in family education to inform program development and improvement.
· Identify, develop, and maintain diverse funding sources, including grant writing, to support program components.
Staff Training and Development:
· Provide training and professional development opportunities for educators and facilitators involved in family education programs.
· Support staff in implementing effective teaching strategies and techniques to enhance family engagement and learning outcomes.
Outreach and Community Engagement:
· Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote family education programs and engage with families in the community.
· Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to expand access to educational resources and opportunities for families.
Program Evaluation and Improvement:
· Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of family education programs and gather feedback from participants.
· Use data and feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve program quality and impact.
Administrative Duties:
· Oversee budget planning and management for family education programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
· Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant data, and evaluation results.
Minimum Qualifications Needed:
Knowledge of and Practice in Providing
· Community agencies and resources, as well as an understanding of the problems facing children, youth, and families.
· Positive parenting concepts and work/life support for families.
· Case management.
Ability to
· Express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
· Work with adults and youth of diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
· Problem solve in stressful situations
· Keep appointments punctually, be organized and demonstrate follow through.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development or Human Services field required.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, with a focus on family engagement and community outreach.
Stipulations:
· Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work;
· Must possess a valid Nevada Driver’s License, and have current insurance for using a personal vehicle for company work;
· Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs; walk up and down stairs; get up and down on the floor; possess fine and gross motor skills; repetitive motion when inputting data
· Requires occasional weekend and evening hours.
· Requires travel in state and out of state for training and/or home visits.
· Willing to obtain required medical screen and immunizations such as TB test, Hepatitis, etc.
