Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     As an Associate Program Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the research, scholarly activities, and selected administrative tasks of our Internal Medicine Residency Program.     Qualifications:

    To succeed in this role, you must hold current board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and be eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license. Academic experience consistent with ACGME requirements is required. We welcome specialists from various fields, including Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, and others. A faculty appointment at the College of Medicine will be commensurate with your academic accomplishments.
