Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Performing annual reviews with staff.
- Ensuring the facilities are well maintained and cleaned according to state regulations.
- Grow NJ Kids experience.
- Understanding of NAEYC guidelines.
- Guiding staff through Professional Development.
- Sending out monthly newsletters and calendars.
- Planning onsite events, shows and trips for the summer calendar.
- Understanding, implementing, and training staff on Creative Curriculum.
- Understanding basics of budgeting.
- Overseeing and assisting the day-to-day operations of the center.
- Increasing the school enrollment and revenue.
- Working with our school technology programs/train staff.
- Meeting with families daily.
- Run Special Events for the school (e.g.: Open houses, STEM Events, Ice Cream Social).
- Programming (Procare, Procare Engagement App, Intellikids).
