Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Center Director- Experience in a child care center required. You will oversee the operations of the center. You will manage your team, ultimately providing the highest quality of care and education. You must have an understanding of licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements and maintain or improve the star rating. You will manage payroll, scheduling and retention as well as other job duties. We require a Center Director to have 3 years of administrative experience in an ODJFS center along with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in ECE or a Bachelor degree in education or a related field. This is a full-time salaried position.
