Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Duties:
The CDRE should:- Ensure that the CRP’s Catholic educational programs are informative, engaging and incorporate Catholic religious education and formation to foster students’ spiritual growth.
- Design curriculum and assessment, volunteer training and evaluation, student progress, resource management, and attend meetings/events necessary to support the Catholic Religious Education Program and the missions and responsibilities of the CRP.
- Instruct youth participants on Catholic sacrament preparations and supervise and conduct youth group workshops and spiritual formation.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience as a Catholic Religious Educator
- Possession of an active suitability and fitness determination (Public Trust) from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

- Knowledge of Catholic doctrine and commitment to spiritual development and moral guidance
