Education Director jobs in Cheyenne, WY

Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Para Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students, planning and implementing engaging activities, and providing guidance and support to children in their development. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of the children.
    • Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
    • Supervise and interact with the children in a positive manner.
    • Maintain records of each child's progress.
    • Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
    • Provide guidance to students in developing social skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
